This page explains the flow of advance preparation and operation for organisers.

Flow of Tracking Preparation

Preparation by the Organiser

Materials Required in Advance

Please send the following materials in advance.

Road Book, Overall Rally Map

  • Please send at least two weeks before the event.
  • Accurate location information for all TC, SS Start, SS Finish, and SS Stop is required.
  • Please include GPS information for each point in the road book. If possible, please create a list of latitude and longitude data for each location. The data format should be Degrees (DD) used in Google Maps, etc.
Introduction to Coordinate Recording App

The app name is "RALLYSTREAM POI Recorder".

Please install from the URL link below. You can also search for "RallyStream" on the App Store to install it.

iOS Version (Requires iOS / iPadOS 17.0 or later)
*Not compatible with Android

Features of the App
  • You can record your current location with any name.
  • You can record multiple locations continuously.
  • You can visually check your current location on the map.
  • You can check the accuracy of positioning by the color of the button.
  • You can send and share recorded results with external apps such as email and messengers.
  • Anyone can use it for free.

  • Please send it as soon as it is ready.
  • PDF is fine, but if you have original data created in Excel or Word, please provide that.

Securing Workspace

Please secure a place where the tracking team can work inside the HQ. A place close to rally control and timing staff is ideal. Please note the following two points.

Internet Connection Environment

  • Please let us know in advance if not available.

Tables and Chairs

  • Tables and chairs for about 3 team members to work and set up large monitors.

  • Please distribute it to competitors as an advance preparation document.
  • Currently available in PDF file and WEB page.

"Event Code" to Set in the App

  • This is information that should only be communicated to the competitors.
  • We will provide a single-page document.
  • There are three ways to communicate this.
  1. Include it in the materials distributed during recce
  2. Post it on the notice board at the recce reception
  3. Communicate to competitors via email the day before recce

Information for the Organiser

We will prepare a dedicated WEB site for the organiser and officials.
It can be viewed on smartphones, tablets, and PCs.
Not only HQ and rally control, but also officials on site can view it, so please make use of it.

Rally Control Dedicated WEB Site URL

  • This is a dedicated WEB site for the organiser and officials.
  • Please do not share this URL with anyone other than officials.
  • Extremely important data is displayed. It is strictly prohibited to post photos where information can be identified to the public, such as taking a picture of the screen and posting it online.

Information for Teams and Spectators

A WEB site is available for team members and spectators. Anyone can view it. It can be viewed on smartphones, tablets, and PCs. Please use it so that everyone who visits can enjoy the rally more.

  • A WEB site that anyone can view.
  • Only the location of the rally car is visible.
